Echoflex Dimmer LED Status Does Not Match Manual
Symptoms/Issue
The LED indicators on an Echoflex Phase Dimmer (ER6CD and ER12CD) do not behave as expected per the installation documentation.
Description/Explanation of Issue
As of September 26, 2022, all Echoflex Phase Dimmers with a -BU model number (e.g. ER6CD-BU 120) have the following issues with their LEDs:
- The PWR and LEARN LEDs are reversed. For example, in Learn mode, the PWR LED goes solid, and the Learn LED blinks.
- When clearing a dimmer to pre-commissioned or factory defaults, the LEDs will go solid first for pre-commission clear, and then start blinking for factory clear.
These issues are planned to be fixed in a software update to come. This article will be updated at that time.
