Echoflex PTM Keycard Switch Links and Functions Like Regular PTM Paddle Switch
Symptoms/Issue
When I link an Echoflex PTM Keycard Switch to a controller:
- the station functions like a paddle-style PTM switch
- the controller's link table shows a paddle-style PTM switch
- the controller's power blink pattern indicates a linked paddle switch rather than keycard switch
Description/Explanation of Issue
The keycard switch has a paddle switch under the main plastic cover, with the switch being flipped upside down and specially configured to work as a keycard switch. The switch was likely installed in the wrong direction, and can easily be flipped in the field to resolve the issue.
Fix/Solution
Unscrew the faceplate of the station, rotate the face plate to face the opposite direction, and re-secure.
