Why Does My EchoDIN Processor Say "Timed Event Hold?"

Symptoms

The appropriate Echo Time Event is not outputting and instead the ERP/ERP-FT/Sensor-IQ says "Manual Timed Event Hold".

Explanation

If manual control of the Echo system is initiated while a Timed Event is active, a Timed Hold will activate to allow for manual control.

Description of a Timed Hold

Holds can be triggered to override a scheduled event/sequence/preset during normal operation. While an active Hold is used to ignore regularly scheduled events, the Hold behavior can be specified in the processor's timeclock menu.

By default, a Timed Hold will automatically clear after two hours (120 min). Navigate to Timeclock Settings [Hold Time] to change the length a Timed Hold will occur within.

If you wish to disable Timed Hold for a scheduled event, navigate to Scheduled Events and change the [Auto Timed Hold] to No.

If you wish to enable Timed Hold for a scheduled event during its "Closed" time only, navigate to Scheduled Events and change the [Auto Timed Hold] to Closed Only.
