Replacing the Control Cards in an Echo Relay Panel Feedthrough
Symptoms/Issue
I need to replace the control cards in my Echo Relay Panel Feedthrough (ERP-FT) and I am unsure how to do this.
Fix/Solution
First you will need a replacement control card. Parts can be ordered through an ETC Dealer.
Distro Part numbers:
ERP-FT 24 / ERP-FT 48 Top Card:
PN# 7123B5635
ERP-FT CONTROL 2 ASSY
ERP-FT 48 Bottom Card:
PN# 7123B5735
ERP-FT CONTROL 2 LOWER 24 ASSY
Once you have ordered a new control card, follow the instructions below.
The below pictures are for the top assembly of a ERP-FT. If you're replacing the bottom card on a 48 circuit panel, the process is the same, but the card is mirrored in orientation.
- Power down the rack!
- Remove the door that blocks access to the relays.
- Unplug the blue and red two-wire harnesses that connect each relay to the control card.
- Unplug the power harness and CAN bus cables that run to the processor.
- Remove the screws that hold in the control card.
- Insert the new part, ensuring it's screwed down firmly, then plug all wire harnesses back in.
