When will my Echo Occupancy Sensors resume functioning after playing Space Off?

Question

When playing Space Off in an Echo system, do the Echo Occupancy sensors resume functioning immediately, or is there a delay, and what is the length of that delay?

Answer

Echo Occupancy Sensors have two states: occupied or vacant. If the sensor is already in its vacant state when Space Off is played, the sensor will be able to play its occupied action immediately following. If the sensor is in its occupied state when Space Off is played, and it does not detect occupancy in the room, it will run the duration of its vacancy timeout until it flips to the vacant state, at which time it can play its occupied action again. This time can vary between 5-30 minutes as set via DIP switches on the rear of the station, or its custom configuration in EchoAccess.
