What are Syslogs?
Syslogs (short for System Logs) are used by a technician to diagnose or troubleshoot an issue by seeing what the device reports back as it is operating. An Authorized Service Technician may set up a receiver to receive the logs generated by the Echo Expansion Bridge and/or other ETC equipment, to gain more information about the operation of your system. The Echo Expansion Bridge syslogs to IP address 10.101.50.60 by default - the default IP address of an ETC Net3 Conductor. Net3 Conductor can receive and store syslogs from Echo Expansion Bridges and other ETC and networking equipment.
