ETC can no longer repair Revision B P-CCS, Conductor and P-TSI with failed motherboards. See the image below to identify revision B hardware.
Description
Revision B hardware P-CCS, Conductor and P-TSI motherboards (ETC P/N: M8180-F) were discontinued in 2018 and ETC can no longer source new motherboards for our repairs service stock.
Repairs can still be done on units with failed storage, memory or front panel issues.
Service Plan and Obstacles
Once determined a revision B hardware unit cannot be repaired several aspects should be considered:
New P-CCS, Conductor, or P-TSI hardware will need be purchased.
Sites will need to update their system's Paradigm version to be compatible with the currently shipping rev C hardware (at least v4.0.0 or higher, preferably to current code).
Any P-LCD stations will have to be replaced with P-TS7-E.
This may include installation of network if the current system is using LON for communication for P-LCD wall-mount. Any P-LCD-P (portable) stations can be replaced with P-TS7-P without installation of network.
Once determined new hardware will need to be purchased, the dealer should be directed towards the regional sales rep to outline an upgrade path.
