Only Main Display Working on Apex Console After a Reimage

Problem

The GPU used in Apex consoles was changed in September 2024. These consoles, as well as any older consoles that have had their GPUs replaced since then, require different graphics drivers from older Apex consoles in order to output to multiple displays simultaneously.

Eos family reimage sticks were updated to include these new drivers. When using an older reimage stick to image a newer console, the updated drivers will be missing from the image, causing only a single screen to work:

Solution

Reimage the console with a new reimage stick. The stick should be 4450D1021 or later. Contact ETC Technical Services if you need a new reimage stick.
