Express Disk Errors and Solutions

Bad Disk - Disk is unformatted or defective. Try formatting it. If that doesn't work, try a different disk.

Corrupted DIsk - This disk is defective. Try formatting it. If that doesn't work, try a different disk.

Data not recorded on disk - You cannot read the System Configuration settings from showfiles created with software version 3.02 or earlier. You must save the show with 3.0.3 ore later software to include System Configuration Settings

Disk Controller Failure - Contact ETC Technical Services or your favorite ETC Authorized Dealer. The console likely needs to be repaired.

Disk Full - Disk contains other files. Remove enough files to make room for show file.

File Not Found - This disk does not appear to have a show stored on it. Please confirm that you have inserted the correct disk

No Disk in Drive - Show disk must be inserted in the disk drive before you can save or read a show.

Unknown or Internal Disk Error - Try Again - Try the disk again. If it continues to fail after trying multiple disks, contact ETC Technical Services. The console likely needs to be repaired.

Write-Protected Disk - The write-protect tab on this disk is open. Close the tab to unprotect the disk.
