ColorSource PAR Jr v4.3.1 Software Issues
Issue
ColorSource PAR Jr fixtures running fixture version 4.3.1.32 have an extra, empty DMX parameter in the their "Direct" mode, causing the total footprint to be 7 parameters, with strobe responding at the 7th parameter instead of the 6th. The menu structure also doesn't match other versions of PAR Jr software and has some additional options.
Explanation of Issue
The software we released for version 4.3.1 was found to behave incorrectly. We have since removed that software from UpdaterAtor and only a very small number of fixtures were manufactured using this version. This software was only ever released for PAR Jr and this issue should not affect any other fixtures.
Solution
If you have a fixture with this software version, they can still be used normally in Preset mode or via DMX in 5ch, RGB, or 1ch mode. To restore the fixture to full functionality, you can also downgrade to version 4.1.1. Downgrades can be performed using UpdaterAtor or via a fixture to fixture push from a PAR Jr that's already running 4.1.1. Please see page 9 of the ColorSource PAR jr Installation Guide for more information. The process to perform a downgrade is identical to performing an upgrade.
