Issue

An F-Drive RX becomes completely unresponsive less than a minute after booting, and its fans go to their full output.

Explanation of Issue

Rarely, a component on the control card of an F-Drive RX can fail to start correctly. This causes the card to become unresponsive. However, this issue is temporary and will be resolved by power cycling the enclosure. As of May 2026, a long-term fix is being researched.

Solution

Power cycle the F-Drive RX.
