Symptoms/Issue

No output on one or more dimmers/lugs

Description/Explanation of Issue

Most likely caused by a failed output dimmer pin, a broken solder joint, or a solder short. The six large ICs (U5-U10) near the larger edge connector control the outputs. Check the pins to make sure there are no broken solder joints or shorts. Also verify that there is no corrosion due to liquid damage

An entire bank of outputs may indicate that one of the buffer ICs has failed entirely

If there is corrosion, the board will very likely require replacement

Fix/Solution

If there is a solder short and you are comfortable with using a soldering iron, carefully remove the solder short.
Otherwise contact an ETC Authorized Service Center for repair, or contact ETC Tech Services to begin the RMA process
