Product Labels and Stickers for Repairs
ETC products often include labels/stickers as part of the finished item. These might tell you:
- Product name
- Product sub-type (e.g. beam angle or color temperature)
- Production date
- A legend for sockets e.g. on the back of a console
- A QR code to find a manual
However, some labels can't be sent out individually, or even as part of a sub-assembly
Regulatory labels
Some labels include the relevant certification mark for your region, for example CE, ETL, or UL
Products including wireless DMX will also have an FCC sticker
These stickers can't be sent out for field repair, because the certification mark refers to the entire product, and we can't certify a product without seeing it
This includes larger labels that also contain these markings
If a component bearing these labels gets damaged (e.g. a Source 4 LED yoke), it would need to be sent to ETC to be restored to factory condition. Contact ETC Tech Support to set this up. Otherwise, you can order the bare yoke (optionally with non-regulatory labels), and repair it yourself, but the fixture will no longer be certified.
Date labels
Non-serialized fixtures like incandescent Source 4, and all Source 4 Minis, are made with a date sticker showing the month and year of production (for example, 12/24)
We do not sell these stickers after the fact, because they indicate the date the fixture was first made
If replacing the yoke of one of these fixtures, either move the existing label across, or leave it off
Other labels
Labels not bearing regulatory marks or date codes can be freely ordered, and applied to your products as needed
