Prodigy P1 General Purpose Hoists
Prodigy P1 general purpose hoists vary in lifting capacity from 900 lb - 2,000 lb (360 kg - 900 kg). The hoist model number calls out the approximate working load limit (WLL/ELL) in pounds for each model based on a nominal hoist configuration.
Example: P1900G = 1,900 lb (862 kg) nominal WLL/ELL = 2,000 lb (900 kg) lifting capacity
The WLL/ELL for each specific application can be determined by subtracting the weight of the batten, cable management, distribution, and/or any other system components from the hoist's lifting capacity.
Each 3/16" lift line is rated for a maximum of 420 lb (190 kg).
Prodigy P1 Hoists with Prodigy Cable Management
Prodigy P1 hoists with Prodigy Cable Management (PCM) vary in lifting capacity from 900 lb - 2,000 lb (360 kg - 900 kg). The hoist model number calls out the approximate working load limit (WLL/ELL) in pounds for each model based on a nominal hoist and cable management configuration.
Example: P1500E = 1,500 lb (680 kg) nominal WLL/ELL = 2,000 lb (900 kg) lifting capacity
The WLL/ELL for each specific application can be determined by subtracting the weight of the batten, cable management, distribution, and/or any other system components from the hoist's lifting capacity.
Each 3/16" lift line is rated for a maximum of 420 lb (190 kg).
Prodigy Cable Management Weight Estimates
The following Prodigy Cable Management (PCM) component weights can be used to estimate the remaining working load limit (WLL) for an ETC hoist.
Prodigy Cable Management with 1.5" Schedule 40 Pipe - 10 lb/ft [14.9 kg/m]
Prodigy Cable Management with ETC WebPipe - 8.5 lb/ft [12.6 kg/m]
Additional System Components
Flat Cable Term Box (FCTB) 20 lb. [9.1 kg]

Prodigy EXO Hoists
Prodigy EXO hoists vary in lifting capacity from 900 lb - 2,000 lb (360 kg - 900 kg). The lifting capacity of the hoist is called out in pounds in the hoist model number. To calculate the working load limit (WLL/ELL) for a specific application the weight of the batten, any cable management, distribution, and/or other components needs to be subracted from the hoist capacity.
Example: EXO P2000GS = 2,000 lb (900 kg) lifting capacity
The WLL/ELL for each specific application can be determined by subtracting the weight of the batten, cable management, distribution, and/or any other system components from the hoist's lifting capacity.
Each 3/16" lift line is rated for a maximum of 420 lb (190 kg).
