What Is The Difference Between the Ethernet ports and the Fiber ports on the back of my Hog?
Description
On the back of the Tour Hog, Stage Hog, and Flex Hog you will find two dedicated Ethernet jacks HogNet 'HN' and FixtureNet 'FN' and two dedicated Fiber jacks labeled '3' and '4'. Using Cat 5 Ethernet cable or better, the two ports are used for different types of communication in a Hog system. The Ethernet jacks are mapped by default but you can remap the HogNet or FixtureNet to use one of the Fiber ports instead.
Note: Gig Hog only has two Ethernet jacks, it does not have the two Fiber jacks.
