Hog lighting console desk lamp is port upside down
Symptoms/Issue
My Tour Hog, Stage Hog, or Flex Hog console has a desk light port that's upside down.
Description/Explanation of Issue
A small portion of the first batch of Hog consoles have a desk light port that is upside down (tab is on the top instead of bottom). If you received one of these, you will need to flip the port so the tab is at the bottom.
Fix/Solution
- Get a straight desk lamp or cable with 3-pin XLR connector and a phillips screwdriver.
- Plug in desk lamp, remove screws.
- Turn the port 180 degrees so the release tab is pointing down
- Replace screws
