Can't map DMX output to Gig Hog widget in Hog PC v5.0.1 on some laptops, including Alienware

Issue

I am using an Alienware laptop (or other) and I can't map DMX outputs to my Gig Hog widget because it is grayed out.

Explanation of Issue

For some unknown reason, the .inf file doesn't seem to install properly for the Gadget/Widget on certain hardware.  This occurs in v5.0.1 and will be resolved in v5.1.  So far, only Alienware laptops seem to behave this way, but there may be other brands as well.

Solution

1. Close Hog PC
2. Navigate to this folder in Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\ETC\HogPC\drivers\gadget
3. Locate the gadget.inf file
4. Right click, select install
5. Open Hog PC and launch show.  Your widgets should be mapped or not grayed out any more
