SMPTE/LTC and MIDI Configuration for Hog Consoles
Symptoms/Issue
SMPTE/LTC or MIDI not outputting on new generation Hog V5 Consoles (Tour, Stage, Flex, and Gig).
- V5 Consoles use different internal devices than V4 hardware.
- Mappings for newer hardware have moved within the software.
It should be noted that the LTC Diagnostic (Test LTC Input) will only work with the older Hog 3 LTC Widget and Hog 4 LTC/MIDI Combo Widget. It will not work with the new hardware used in the new Hog Platform. (Tour, Stage, Flex, and Gig)
Fix/Solution
- The tables below will explain mapping Hog 3 and Hog 4 Widgets as well as the new generation V5 Hog hardware when using the internal and external devices.
