Sensor IQ Acceptable Main Breaker Trip Ratings
The Sensor IQ Breaker Panel can be supplied with a Main Breaker Kit. Standard 120V kits are available in 3P 100A, 200A, 225A, 250A, and 400A as well as 1P 100A, 200A, and 400A. Standard 240V/277V kits are available in 100A, 200A, and 400A. If a different size is needed, the following trip ratings of main breakers are acceptable in the Sensor IQ. We are not able to do any values other than these for the Sensor IQ, as they would require different bussing for the breaker, which would void the UL listing for the panels.
Breakers are rated per pole/phase. So, a Main Breaker: 277/480V (240/415V), 100A will support 100A per phase NOTE: Per the NEC, a 100A breaker can only be loaded to 80% or in your case(100A main) 80A per phase.
These values of breakers are available in the approved breaker frames for these panels.
Sensor IQ 12:
15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100
Sensor IQ 24:
All of the values from the IQ 12, plus:
125, 150, 160, 175, 200
Sensor IQ 48:
All of the values from the IQ 24, plus:
225, 250, 300, 400
