Linking Wireless Devices to the EEI Inputs & Outputs

Description

The EEI inputs recall lighting presets for a defined Space within the Elaho network. The Space is defined by the rotary dial on the face of the EEI.

By default the presets for the four inputs are Presets 1-4. (100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%).

The four input channels support wall stations, keycard stations, occupancy sensors, and photo sensors. You can have any combination of devices linked to a channel.

We recommend that only devices of the same type are linked to an individual channel.

For example: Wall stations linked to input channel 1, occupancy sensors on channel 2, etc. You may have to adjust the preset number or record a new preset value for the input.

NOTE: The EEI supports up to 35 wireless devices total, across all four inputs and four outputs

Mapping a device to an EEI input or output

The four inputs and four outputs on an EEI share a link table

The link table entry is the same format for both and starts with the radio ID of the device being linked in. Each entry is 9 bytes long. When linking in switches, there are two possible paddles or buttons that could be linked: an A button or a B button. If linking the A button, the B button must be masked off, and vise versa.

The EEI are linked to the controllers through an output (zone) additionally controllers are linked to the same output and provide status to the EEI. When performing this linking manually by pressing the Learn/Teach buttons, a bi-directional link between the two devices is completed. When using software to perform this function, each link must be added separately.
