What is the range of possible Relay Delay, and how do I set it?
Answer
This product offers an optional relay delay time from 0 to 1000 milliseconds (ms), equal to 1 second, with a 200ms minimum delay above 0. This adds a delay between outputs when turning on multiple relays at once, to reduce inrush current. For example, with a 500ms Relay Delay value set, if relays 1 through 5 were turned on at the same time from an external control source, relays 1 through 5 would energize in sequence with a 500ms delay between each relay.
- In the main menu, navigate to 'Switching Setup' and press Enter (the √ button).
- navigate to 'Switching Options'; press Enter.
- select 'Relay Delay by highlighting and pressing Enter. Set desired delay time; Press Enter.
NOTE: The Relay Delay time will effect all relays in the panel. It is not possible to set a delay for individual relays.
