Echo Relay Feedthrough Option Card Harness Issue

In September 2015, we switched to a keyed power and data harness on Echo Relay Feed-Through Panel (ERP-FT) and its option cards to prevent incorrect installation. These option cards include the network option card, contact input option card, fluorescent option card, and DALI option card.

We recently discovered that some ERP-FT panels were manufactured with an older, incorrect receptacle, meaning that the new harness cable would not fit. The slots on the receptacle are the best way to tell the difference.

 If you encounter this in the field, the new style connector can be modified to fit – clip the ears on both sides of the connector so it will fit.  Please keep in mind, the connectors should be oriented with the wires against the PCB and folded over the top of the connector.
