Where EchoAccess Custom Configurations Are Stored
Question
If I create a custom configuration for an Echo device (e.x. 8-button Inspire station) via the EchoAccess app through an Echo Bluetooth Interface or Echo Expansion Bridge, what device stores that custom configuration?
Description/Explanation
Custom configurations live in the EchoAccess Bluetooth Interface or Echo Expansion Bridge that they are configured through.
If you create a custom configuration for an Echo station through an EchoAccess Bluetooth Interface and then look at the station through a difference Bluetooth Interface or an Echo Expansion Bridge, you will not see the custom configuration applied through the original Interface.
This includes names for devices applied in the Configuration tab of EchoAccess.
You can use the save option in the Configuration tab of EchoAccess to save that configuration file to a depository inside the app on your device. This can be helpful if connecting to a different EchoAccess Bluetooth Interface of Echo Expansion Bridge to look at a similar or identical station.
