DRd racks are able to control the power output of an AF module, however, advanced feature reporting is only available in a Sensor rack. This includes the power LED; the signal light will come on as normal, but the power light will not, as it is AF-dependent. There is no reason to purchase AF modules for use in a DRd rack; however, one can be used in a DRd rack if necessary.
