Replacing the hydraulic screen adjuster on Consoles

Problem 

When the console's display adjustment button is pushed down, the display does not move up or down or it requires quite a bit of effort to move it.

 

Solution

Some consoles with adjustable displays utilize a hydraulic piston to hold the display's position. Over time, the piston can wear out or leak fluid and it may become necessary to replace it. 

Service kits are available for purchase to complete this replacement yourself.  Please refer to the chart below to identify the correct part number for your console. Instructions to perform the replacement are included with each kit and are also linked in the table below.
