CueSystem Patch Reverts After Update


Patching CueSystem outputs to channels appears to work correctly, but the changes made revert after the Update Controller button is pressed.

Description/Explanation of Issue

This issue occurs when the system controller changes its show file but does not properly clear out its patch. In this situation, the outputs must be deleted from the controller memory, then re-added, before they can be correctly patched to desk channels.


  1. Disconnect the output devices from the network.
  2. Click the "Delete Node or Outstation" button in the Patch screen.
  3. Select all devices and delete them.
  4. Click the "Update Controller" button.
  5. Reconnect the devices from the network. They can now be patched.
