PS533 (Current ATX-Style) with 4310A4216 Label
PS533 PWR SUP ATX 400W 3.3V 5V 12V FSP400
This power supply can be identified by the number of screws holding it into the chassis, as well as the location of the power switch and IEC input. PS533 has four (4) screws. The power switch is located above the IEC input and both the IEC input and power switch are located to the right of the fan.
This power supply is made by Sparkle Power and is an ATX form factor power supply and will not fit into a chassis designed for an SFX style form factor.
**If PS325-F or PS329-F was previously installed, Ion consoles will need a new metal tray for PS533 to fit the cutout. Please see the parts list at the bottom of this article.
PS533: 4310A4216:
PS329-F (Obsolete - SFX style) Replace with PS533 and bottom tray, described below.
PS329-F PWR SUP SFX 350W 3.3V 5V 12V 100~240VAC
This power supply can be identified by the number of screws holding it into the chassis, as well as the location of the power switch and IEC input. PS329-F has six (6) screws. The power switch is above the IEC input, and the power switch and IEC input are to the left of the fan.
It was made by Seasonic and is an SFX form factor power supply and will not fit into a chassis designed for an ATX style form factor.
PS325-F (Obsolete - ATX Style)

Obsolete by the manufacturer and no longer available.
This power supply can be identified by the number of screws holding it into the chassis, as well as the location of the power switch and IEC input. PS325-F has four (4) screws. The power switch is below the IEC input, and the power switch and IEC input are to the right of the fan.
There have been two manufacturers of PS325-F: Antec and Seasonic. It is an ATX form factor power supply and will not fit into a chassis designed for an SFX style form factor.
One power supply ETC used in Ion and Element consoles is the Antec EA-380D
99070038EF (Obsolete - ATX Style)
99070038EF POWER SUPPLY 400W ATX
December 2020, 99070038EF went obsolete by the manufacturer and is no longer available. PS533 replaces 99070038EF. The new power supply also requires new metalwork to fit into the Ion console
This power supply can be identified by the number of screws holding it into the chassis, as well as the location of the power switch and IEC input. 99070038EF has four (4) screws. The power switch is located above the IEC input and both the IEC input and power switch are located to the right of the fan.
It was made by Sparkle Power and is an ATX form factor power supply. This power supply will not fit into the metalwork of the Ion chassis due to the location of the power switch and IEC input. Because of this, a new bottom tray was manufactured to allow for more variations of IEC input and power switch sizes and locations. The part numbers can be found below.
If replacing a failed power supply with PS533, either the bottom tray must be replaced or the metal must be manually cut to fit the new power supply. There are also two labels for the new bottom tray and power supply.

The Littlite connector, Littlite dimmer, and Remote Macro port is not included with the new metalwork and will need to be transferred to the new bottom tray. Feet from the old metalwork can also be transferred. If screws are needed, use only short screws (3/16"). Screws that are too long will make contact with the motherboard and sever traces and/or cause shorts.
The plastic cable tie mounts can be transferred from the old metalwork.
The serial number will also need to be transferred to the new metalwork. Another option is to request a reprinted serial number when ordering the new metalwork. Please provide the part number and serial number of the console when doing so. The serial number can be found on the outside of the console on the right hand side near the power supply.
