Explanation of Issue
This error is caused by an error in the header of a file installed as part of the Eos Family Software. This can occur if the software installer file being used is corrupted or if the installer .zip file has been renamed to .exe
Fix/Solution
If you can access the Shell/ECU, download a new copy of the software and attempt to install it.
If the installation still fails, please contact Technical Support. They will send you a special installer to attempt to remove the problematic software so that the new version can be installed.
If you are unable to access the ECU (Shell), ETC can provide you with a re-imaging kit which will fully wipe and re-write the hard drive, thus restoring the damaged file.
