SMPTE Input Range For Expression 2 and 3

You can increase the dynamic range of the SMPTE input by adjusting the offset voltage of the amplifier.

The range of the SMPTE input with is:

  • +3 to +14 dBu (without bypass jumper)
  • 20K input 0 to +14 dBu (with bypass installed)

This can be adjusted down for input attenuation and matching if required.

Make sure to always measure SMPTE is with a true RMS averaging meter.
