How to Record or Read a Show on an Expression
Question:
How do I read/record my show on an Expression Family Console?
Answer:
When you write to a diskette, you write everything stored in the console's memory, both the show programming and the console's configuration. However, you may read show and configuration information separately from a show file stored on diskette. Reading these two components separately allows you to conveniently keep system configuration preferences, such as default settings and hardware setup, the same even when you run different shows.
Insert a 1.44 MB, high density diskette into the console's disk drive and then proceed as follows to write to or read from the diskette.
To write to Diskette:
- Press [Setup] [3] [Enter]
- On the 'Disk Functions' screen, press [1] then [Enter] [Enter].
To read both the show and the configuration information from the show file:
- Press [Setup] [3] [Enter]
- On the Disk Functions screen press [5] then [Enter] [Enter].
To read only the show information:
- Press [Setup] [3] [Enter]
- On the Disk Functions screen press [2] then [Enter] [Enter].
To read only the configuration information:
