What does a rapidly flashing red LED on an ALCR mean?

I have an Automatic Load Control Relay (ALCR) installed which isn't working properly and there is a rapidly flashing red LED on the unit. What does the red LED mean?

Explanation of Issue & Solution

There isn't a state in which that LED should be flashing. If it's off that means it's not powered from the emergency source, a red solid LED means there is no normal sense detected and it's in emergency mode, and a solid green LED means both the emergency source and normal sense is present.

If you see a flashing LED of any kind on the ALCR you should contact ETC Technical Services who will assist in further troubleshooting.
