DMX Clamp style connector
In 2023 ETC is moving DMX connection to a Clamp style connectors. This new connector is used for both Stranded and Solid core wire types. Thus works like a term strip, pushing on orange tab open the clamp, releasing it then clamps on the wire.
So it replaces the screw terminal connector that was used for stranded wire and the IDC connector that was used for Cat 5/6 connections. It uses a tap that can be pressed to insure the wire. Note: With solid core wire you can just insure the wire without pressing the tab. Here are the part numbers for the new connectors.
