The optics on my new Selador Desire fixture don't look the same as my older units.
Symptoms/Issue
The beam spread on my new Selador Desire fixtures is a little larger than my existing fixtures, and the optics don't look the same.
Description/Explanation of Issue
In July 2015 ETC made a change from multi piece clear optics to a single piece frosted optic. The clear optics required the use of diffusion to homogenize the beam. With the frosted optics, the diffusion was no longer necessary.
Fix/Solution
- If you'd like to purchase an optics kit to retrofit your existing units to the frosted optics, please contact ETC Tech Support for a part number and instructions for how to replace the optics.
