S4WRD lamp assembly connector has turned brown. Fixture has otp error.
Symptoms/Issue
The fixture has gone into "otp" error.
The fixture runs for a short time and then goes out.
Description/Explanation of Issue
If the fixture is going into "otp" error look at the edge of the white plastic connector at the base of the LED circuit board. There are 4 of them, one on each side. If there is any indication of a color change the lamp assembly needs to be replaced. The color can go from just a slightly very light brown to extremely dark brown indicating it has over heated.
This is not always evident on all S4WRDs. They might not show any color change but still be in over temperature error requiring replacement.
Fix/Solution
- Contact tech services to return for repair.
