Symptoms/Issue
My Source Four Series 2 Lustr is looking dingy; the beam looks yellow when it should be white.
Description/Explanation of Issue
In very specific use cases, the plastic optics used in Source Four LED were susceptible to trapping heat, particularly at the Indigo and Blue emitters. As the heat builds up, the optics begin to yellow and can affect the output of the fixtures.
Fix/Solution
In August 2016 ETC made a change to glass optics to remedy this issue. If you suspect that you have yellowing optics in a fixture, please contact Technical Support with the serial number of the fixture.
