Changes to Sticky IP in Net3 Gateways v7.0.0 and higher
With version 7.0.0 of gateway firmware, the “Sticky IP” setting for IP addresses was removed. This setting previously allowed a gateway to prefer a previously assigned DHCP address, in the event the DHCP server was no longer available.
When a DMX/RDM gateway is upgraded to v7.0.0 or higher, if it had a dynamic address with Sticky IP checked it would be changed to have a static IP at its last assigned DHCP address.
Gateways configured with a static IP or dynamic IP without sticky IP checked would be unchanged.
