Are the relays on the Response Analog I/O Gateway mechanically latching?
Question:
Are the relays on the Response Analog I/O Gateway mechanically latching?
Answer:
The relays on the Response Analog I/O Gateway are electrically held. Therefore all of the relays will go to the de-energized state when power is removed from the unit (POE or 12-24DC power input). After the Response Analog I/O Gateway reboots, and if there is still a control signal, the Response Analog I/O Gateway will control the relays based on the incoming signal. It takes the Response Analog I/O Gateway approximately 15 seconds to boot and read the incoming signal.
