DRd12AX12 Identifying as a DRd12
Issue
A newly installed DRd12AX12 rack is identifying itself as a regular DRd12 and mirroring control between the two sides of the rack.
NOTE: If racks aren't mirroring and there's no control at all over the second rack, there's likely something wrong with the interconnect cable or the way it's installed
Explanation of Issue
Regardless of what's installed on the processor side of the rack, DRd AX racks are designed to use a Mk1 Right I/O card (P/N 7183B5906) on the side that doesn't have a processor. If a Mk2 Right I/O (7183B5630) is accidentally installed on the non-processor side, the ACP may not be able to see the rack to provide independent control
Solution
Replace the Right I/O on the non-processor side of the rack with a Mk1 Right I/O (P/N 7183B5906).
All AX racks should ship with a Mk1 Right I/O included. If you believe the wrong parts were shipped to you, please contact your Project Manager or ETC Technical Support.
