SmartBar 1 and SmartModule 1 Repairs
This document suggests some common causes for problems seen in SmartBar and SmartModule units.

DMX Driver chips may have failed. Replace U11 and U12 (Z9434-F) DC - DC Converter may have failed. Replace DC1 (PS179-F) |

PowerModule may be bad or unplugged. |

Will not boot fully |
Make sure PowerModule Control circuit board (7580B5428) is plugged into Main circuit board completely |

Display showing OVERTEMP errors constantly |
Make sure PowerModule Control circuit board (7580B5428) is plugged into Main circuit board completely |
| Display blank, missing characters, or scrambled |
Replace DS156-F Display Replace U8 - Z9466-F |
| LEDs or Switches not working | Replace U7 - Z9466-F |
Notes:
Please be careful when wiring the 3 phase connector. The Z (Phase 3) on some connectors can easily be mistaken for N (neutral).
