Resetting an E-Stop

To reset an E-stop that has been triggered

First Step

Determine why the E-stop was pressed and if it is safe to operate the hoist again.

Second Step

If it is safe to resume operation, turn the red button clockwise until the button pops back into its raised position.

Third Step

Initiate a self test at the control station. On a Quicktouch or Quicktouch+ this will be by turning the keyswitch to 'off', then back to 'on'. On a Foundation, a QuickTouch Preset, or an FHHR, you will need to log back in to the controller and press the large button in the lower middle of the screen that says 'E-STOP triggered PRESS to Restart'.

You will not be able to move any hoists until the system reboots and self tests.

The self test lasts approximately five seconds. During this time you will hear a series of clicks from your powerheads. Once the system has completed its self test and found no faults, you should be free to resume operation of your system.
