UPLD Shows on the Display of Studio Color Last updated Save as PDF Symptoms/Issue Display reads UPLD Description/Explanation of Issue The unit will not home when powered on and the display show UPLD. The unit is stuck in upload mode and needs software installed Fix/Solution Connect the problem fixture to a working fixture of the same type via DMX cable. Power on both fixtures. After homing go into the Mode menu of the working fixture, look for xld, hit the enter button The working fixture is now cross loading software to the problem fixture. If the cross load is successful the problem fixture will home It may take several attempts to cross load before the problem fixture takes the software. If the problem fixture does not take the cross load then the logic board will need to be repaired.
