Verifying and Changing Alina DMX Start Addresses
- Use ETC’s Concert software application to inspect the network
- Download Concert here: System Configuration Software
- Connect your computer to the same Ethernet network as the Alina Power Supply.
- If the power supply is not already connected to a network via a network switch, you can use an Ethernet cable to link your computer directly to the power supply’s network port on the front face.
- Open the application and choose ‘Network Map’ from the “Getting Started” menu in the Welcome pane
- The software will try to automatically detect the Alina Power Supply (will appear as ‘DMX Gateway’) along with any connected Alina fixtures
- If automatic detection does not work, ensure the power supply and your computer’s ethernet port are configured for the same IP scheme
- In Concert, navigate to Options>Find Unreachable Devices
- The Unreachable Devices Wizard will guide you through the process of identifying any link-local IP addresses and forcing them onto an ETC-compatible IP scheme:
- IP address: 10.101.x.x
- Subnet: 255.255.0.0
- Gateway: 10.101.1
