AAS (Analog Address System) - Stations Do Not Work

Symptoms/Issue and Solutions

  • Cable between station and AAS Processor has been damaged, and cables have been cut and/or shorted.  Also check wire termination at the station and AAS Processor.

 

  • Stations LED's are not turning on
    • No power is coming from the AAS Processor (F2 likely blown)
    • Issues with Station or AAS Processor - send both in for RMA Repair.

 

  • Take Control switch or other switches are not working
    • Bad switches - send in for RMA Repair.
    • Issues with Station or AAS Processor - send both in for RMA Repair.

 

  • Faders do not control channels
    • Issues with Station or AAS Processor - send both in for RMA Repair.

 

  • Use the "Monitor" menu on the AAS Processor to test the input functions

 

  • After checking cables, wire termination, and fuses, try swapping in a known good station.
