What is the Masking Feature in Echoflex

Question

Echoflex products mention masking as a feature, what is this?

Answer

Masking is the ability to have an output controller ignore commands from a transmitting control source.

This is a 'by type' scenario, where you can have the controller ignore all switches, occupancy sensors, or photo sensors it is linked to.

At this time, the only way to use the mask feature is with an Echoflex Wireless TimeClock (WTC). Mask is an event action option, where you assign a group and set a duration (maximum 17hr 59sec) for the mask to be in effect. If you want the group to ignore multiple types of controls, you will need to make an individual event for each type.
