Downloading Configuration From EchoDIN WebUI

Issue

I tried to download the configuration from the WebUI but instead of downloading a file it opened a text file in the web browser.

Explanation of Issue

This text file is the configuration being displayed in a text view.  Because the configurations are an XML based format certain web browsers, including Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, recognize this and view the XML file as a valid web page so they load the content.  When this happens this is what you will see:

Solution

To resolve this: 

  1. Right-click within the window/tab.
    EPCP webui dl config right click.png
     
  2. Choose "Save As".

  3. Set file type to ".cfg"
