EchoAccess Interface Appears As Echo Bridge In The EchoAccess App
Symptoms/Issue
My Echo Access app is showing that the EchoAccess Interface it is connected to is "Echo Bridge". Other devices may have corrupted text or "???" as their names. I have disconnected all other Echo devices from this interface to determine that this is the problematic unit.
Solution
The EchoAccess Interface may need an updated firmware push (v3.0.0 or higher). You can download the appropriate firmware file using UpdaterAtor software and drop onto a microSD card. Insert the card into the EchoAccess Interface and power cycle the unit. You may remove the microSD card once the LED indicator lights on the interface show a solid blue and a quickly flashing orange. The interface may still identify it as "Echo Bridge", but it can be renamed in the configuration tab once updated.
