How to Restore Defaults on an EchoAccess Interface
These instructions walk through how to Restore Defaults on an EchoAccess Interface (E-ACC). Performing a Restore Defaults is typically only done by ETC Technicians between jobs, who use E-ACC as a tool to start up Echo systems, or as a last-resort troubleshooting step when working with ETC Technical Support. This erases all custom configuration data from the E-ACC, and sets it up as it is fresh from the factory. The only way to restore the configuration (without building it from scratch) is to load a saved configuration file within the EchoAccess App. For this reason, a backup the configuration should be created prior to Restore Defaults if possible.
With the E-ACC powered on, simply hold the Reset button on the rear of the unit for 10 seconds. The blue power LED will remain solid until 10 seconds has elapsed, at which time it will briefly blink in unison with the amber Bluetooth LED. Release the Reset button when the blue power LED is solid again (approx 11-12s total). Below is an image showing the location of the Reset button. These same instructions are found printed next to the button (see screenshot below).
