What is the maximum size for microSD cards to update Echo products?
Simply put, any microSD card with a maximum storage size of 32GB is compatible and should work with Echo products for updating.
You will also want to make sure that the microSD card is formatted in FAT32.
This limitation is due to how SDHC (High Capacity) and SDXC (Xtended Capacity) cards are formatted and the Echo peripherals are unable to read this data.
To make sure that the Echo unit can see your microSD card and properly read from it, this is our reason for recommending anything equal to or below 32GB.
