Mosaic Outdoor Photo Sensor Wiring

ETC offers the following outdoor rated photosensor from PLC Multipoint (ETC Part#SGM1734). The sensor can utilize available digital inputs on an MSC and/or RIO 44/80.

PLC Multipoint Sensor Specifications:

• Belden 1036A is recommended
• Do not exceed 500ft of wire between the sensor and digital input
• Powered with a DC supply that provides +12-24VDC
• Each sensor consumes 113mW (4.7mA @ 24VDC)
• Factory calibrated for 0-250FC

Mosaic Designer (MD) Setup:

• Setting the desired digital input range to 0-10VDC is a good starting point
  • Adjust the low and high ends (as needed) within the configuration based on voltage drop of the photosensor output

• Setup an Analog trigger within the Trigger tab of MD to allow for the most flexibility within the configuration
