Mosaic Designer 2.14.0 Touchscreen Changes

Introduction

Mosaic Designer 2.14.0 introduced a number of changes to Touchscreen interaction within the Mosaic Designer Software.

Touch Device Management

All touch devices, with the exception of the MTPC,  are now considered "RIO Devices". These devices can be added to the configuration under the ‘New Device’ button within the network tab.

When selecting a touch device, the touch device properties dock will appear on the right hand side of the screen.
Touch devices can now be assigned a device number, allowing for easy identification and additional device specific triggering.

Touch Device Configuration Changes

Touch devices configurations are now sent to each touch device from the parent controller allowing the devices to restore their state after losing connection to the system.
Touch Devices that have not received a configuration file will now display ‘Waiting to receive interface from controller'

For larger, more complex configurations loading may take a few additional seconds.
